Pre requirements:

Applicants legal record must be clear of any felony convictions- including sexual convictions, clicd or elderly abuse, theft, robbery, DUI or alcohol/drig, serious traffic violations, or any action taken against a health care license held by the applicant. In addition, students mat not be on parol for any reason.

 

All applicants must successfully pass a drug test prior to acceptance into the program. Failure will result in aplication denial.

 

Applicant must be:

-18 years old prior to National Registry testing

- In possesion of a High School diploma or G.E.D.

 

Completion Requirements:

Prior to completion of the course all students must show proof of the following:

- Proof that the required Hep B series has beed started

-Ngative TB test or copy of X-ray

-Documentation of MMR

-Possess a valid State of Michigan driver license

-Complete 30 hours of clinicals on addition to course hours

 

Students who successfully complete all written and practical testing tobe eligible to take the Natiolan Reqistry written examination
